Electronic Communication

The practice is connected to the GPNet and has secure e-mail facilities. There are also electronic communications sent and received relating to laboratory test results, hospital letters, out of hours medical contacts. The information in these information networks are encrypted and is totally secure.

We are currently participating in the implemention of the national programme allowing: prescriptions to be sent electronically to pharmacies and the electronic transfer of records between practices.
